Current research focuses on seeking new meanings for multi-dimensional aspects of classical poetry in Turkish literature for the period of Ottomans, which are most actively represented in Divan literature. This interdisciplinary work enriches our knowledge of classical Turkish literature by making it a connector for the Ottoman cultural and artistic environment. The study thus underlines the synesthetic harmony that characterized Ottoman artistic expression and adds to our understanding of its cultural depth by examining the mutual influences of music and poetry. The methodology followed is a comparative analysis of poetic texts and musical compositions from the Ottoman period. This study attempts to discover how poets have placed music within their texts using key examples, such as musical motifs in poetic couplets, rhythm, and melody.
