This study explores incorporating artificial intelligence (AI) into strategic management
decision-making, emphasizing its impact on decision accuracy for improved outcomes,
efficiency of work elevating performances, and risk management for a sustainable future. A
qualitative data approach was employed, using semi-structured interviews with 20 senior
executives to gather insights on AI’s role in enhancing strategic decisions, the challenges of its
integration, and its future potential in long-term planning. Thematic analysis identified key
themes such as AI’s ability to support data-driven decisions, the balance between AI and
human intuition, and organizational changes resulting from AI adoption. Findings suggest that
AI offers noteworthy advantages in decision-making, but practical integration challenges and
resistance within organizations often constrain its full potential.
